Clonmacnoise, Ireland's early Christian Monastic Settlement. Very famous.
In the settlement, this arch has the name, "whispering arch", because it is haunted, duh!!! I am pretty sure I heard it whisper: "Barbie, you are the prettiest of all."
That sign says 1647. Not sure why, but it's old, that's for sure.
Cliffs of Mohr warning sign: Don't fall off.
Scenic pic.
Us with the Cliffs of Mohr behind us. They were so huge--yet such a blur because we got there 15min before they closed, so we had to run in, take pics, and run out! Best part--we didn't have to pay to park or to enter!!!
So all in all our road trip started at 8:30 in the morn, and ended at 8:30 at night. 12 hours!! We were in the car for most of it, on the long winding roads--only stopping at 3 places along the way! A detour on the way to Cliffs of Mohr was our biggest setback. But it was all well worth it. The last 3 hours of the trip consisted of us imagining our dream dinners. Most of which came true.
This video is when we were driving through Galway in the pouring rain. We thought this woman (or man) was hillarious!!
